CSV to QR Codes: Format, Examples & Downloads
Use one data row per QR code: a label for the filename and printed caption, plus the URL or text to encode. CSV headers stay in English in every language.
Download sample CSVWebsite URLs
label,url Product 001,https://example.com/products/001 Product 002,https://example.com/products/002 Product 003,https://example.com/products/003
Use complete https:// or http:// addresses. The code contains the destination directly. A label does not change the destination.
Plain text and asset IDs
label,text Asset 001,ASSET-001 Asset 002,ASSET-002
Choose Plain text and use label, text as the header. Scanning displays the encoded text; this does not create an inventory or tracking system.
Commas and quotation marks
label,url "Front desk, building A",https://example.com/front-desk "Room ""B""",https://example.com/room-b
Wrap a value containing a comma or line break in double quotation marks. Write an internal quotation mark twice. Keep exactly two columns.
Export Excel or Google Sheets as CSV
- Name the first two columns label and url, or label and text. Fill one code per row; labels and content cannot be empty.
- In Excel, save as CSV UTF-8 (.csv). In Google Sheets, download the current sheet as comma-separated values (.csv). Menu wording can vary by version and language.
- Choose the file in LabelBatch or paste its CSV contents. Fix marked rows, generate, and scan samples before using the codes.
Current limits
Up to 500 data rows per batch, excluding the header. UTF-8 CSV up to 1 MB; labels up to 100 characters; content up to 512 UTF-8 bytes. Korean, Japanese, and Chinese characters usually use multiple bytes. PNG output: 512 or 1024 pixels.
What is inside the ZIP?
Each row becomes a PNG with a unique numbered filename. manifest.csv maps files to original labels and content. READ-ME.txt includes usage notes. CSV column names remain unchanged across languages.
